The Hardbook
The Hardbook SoftPLC CPU is a compact, low-cost controller that can handle most applications. Via included ports and an expansion slot, the Hardbook supports a wide range of I/O and third-party products. An additional benefit to the Hardbook is the extended temperature rating (-20 to + 70°C).
A Hardbook SoftPLC is an open architecture controller, consisting of:
- SoftPLC Control Software, I/O and communications drivers, and (optional) embedded web server
- Industrial enclosure of heavy duty steel construction with mounting brackets
- Single-Board CPU card with on-board SDRAM memory, compact flash memory, serial port, USB port, and (2) ethernet ports
- Your selected option such as I/O interfaces, communication card, modem, motion control card etc.
Hardbook SoftPLC's are "cable-ready" controller CPU's and include component hardware assembly, SoftPLC runtime software and driver installation, system configuration, and system level testing.
Hardbook SoftPLC models are sized by discrete I/O capacity (see table). Analog or special purpose module I/O channels allowed are limited only by the hardware configuration chosen
